Start with your campus routine
Before you compare properties, write down the campus gate or department you need to reach, your usual class schedule and the time you prefer to return. AS HOSTEL is near Andhra University, and the beach is within walking distance. For a specific campus gate, ask the team for directions rather than relying on a general map label.
Compare the actual room arrangement
Room names can mean different things at different properties. Ask whether single occupancy, two-sharing, three-sharing or four-sharing options are currently available. Confirm the number of residents, bed layout, storage, washroom access, ventilation and the tariff for the exact room being offered. Ask to inspect the relevant room category before paying.
Ask about the facilities you will use
At AS HOSTEL, the facilities highlighted are 24/7 security, lift access and indoor games. During a visit, ask how residents access these facilities and whether any house rules or timings apply. Confirm any additional service you personally need rather than assuming it is included.
Compare the complete monthly cost
Request a written tariff showing the amount payable, deposit, refund conditions, notice period and any separate charges. If meals, electricity, air conditioning, internet or laundry matter to you, ask whether each is included for your selected room category. A clear written breakdown is more useful than a headline monthly rate alone.
Visit and check the rules
Inspect the entrance, room allocation, common spaces and route to the places you visit most often. Ask about visitor policies, quiet hours, maintenance reporting, payment receipts and move-in readiness. Parents can ask the same questions directly so everyone understands the arrangement.
Enquire with AS HOSTEL
